Eden Naftali
September 11, 2000 - October 7, 2023

A Life Full of Light
Eden Naftali was born in Rishon LeZion, Israel, to her parents Rina and Rami, and was the beloved older sister of Aviv.
She was known for her magnetic presence, her kindness, and her deep love for people. With her golden curls, bright eyes, and constant smile, Eden brought warmth and light to everyone around her.
Eden was vibrant, curious, and full of life. She served in the IDF as an instructor in the Combat Intelligence Collection Corps and later continued as a reservist. After her service, she began studying Communications and Business Administration, excelling in her studies and already building a promising path in media.
She loved traveling, the sea, yoga, and meaningful conversations, and was always there for her friends and family with support and love.
In the summer of 2023, Eden met Idan Herman, and together they built a relationship full of love and respect.
October 7
On October 6, 2023, Eden and Idan attended the Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re'im.
The next morning, as a brutal terrorist attack unfolded, Eden managed to call her family and reassure them:
“Everything is okay, don't worry.”
Shortly after, contact was lost.
Eden was murdered at the Nova Festival at just 23 years old. Her partner, Idan, was also murdered that morning, along with hundreds of others.
Her Legacy
Eden's light continues to live on in everyone who knew her.
Her mother, Rina, said:
“Eden believed in love and joy. Her motto in life was: SPREAD THE LOVE - and that is how she lived.”
In Her Spirit
Eden is our “fairy” - a quiet light that continues to guide, inspire, and remind us to choose love.
This platform was created to bring confidence, light, and self-expression into people's lives - values Eden lived every day.
In her memory, we continue to spread love.
This memorial is part of the Next October - an initiative dedicated to honoring the lives of those lost on October 7, preserving their stories, and ensuring their light continues to shine.
